TV Edwards welcomed colleagues from across the firm to its 2026 Annual General Meeting on Thursday 25 June at the Courthouse Hotel in Shoreditch. The annual event provided an opportunity to celebrate the firm’s achievements over the past year, thank colleagues for their continued commitment, share updates on the firm’s performance and strategic direction, and look ahead to the opportunities that will shape the future of the business.

Opening the afternoon, Partner Adrienne Wright welcomed colleagues before Managing Partner Julian Overton delivered his annual firm update. Reflecting on another successful year, Julian spoke about the positive impact of the firm’s new partnership structure, alongside a number of key appointments and promotions that have strengthened the business and supported its continued growth.

Julian also highlighted the firm’s ongoing expansion, including the introduction of a new Employment service, the continued growth of its Private Client and Licensing practices, and the launch of a Neurodiversity Aware team within the Family department. These developments reflect TV Edwards’ commitment to evolving its services to meet the changing needs of clients while continuing to invest in specialist expertise.

The past year has also been one of the firm’s most successful in terms of external recognition. TV Edwards has received an exceptional number of industry awards and accolades, including being named in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work, winning Gold for Service Excellence at the London Chamber of Commerce SME Business Awards, and being recognised as The Times Best Law Firm for the second consecutive year. The Property team celebrated a double success at the National Conveyancing Awards, the Family team was named Family Children’s Law Team of the Year, and the Shaun Livingstone from the Social Welfare team received a prestigious Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year (LALY) Award

Looking ahead, Julian outlined the firm’s ambitions for the coming year, with continued investment in technology and the development of an AI strategy designed to improve operational efficiency, strengthen business support systems and enhance client service. He also spoke about the firm’s continued focus on improving the client experience, making greater use of data insights to inform decision-making, and investing in the TV Edward’s brand to support future growth in an increasingly competitive legal market.

At the heart of these ambitions, Julian reinforced the firm’s belief that its people and clients remain its greatest strength and the foundation of its continued success.

The AGM also showcased the breadth and expertise of the firm’s practice areas through presentations from Heads of Department and key staff. Colleagues heard updates from Jenny Mansell (Social Welfare), Sarah Inchley (Family and Complex Children), Alia Lewis (Public Law Children), Caroline Andrews (Divorce and Finance), Adrienne Wright and Nathaniel Gadsby (Crime and Licensing), Adam Haffenden (Dispute Resolution), Julie Leslie and Maddison Keeble  (Personal Injury), Juanita Francis (Property) and Cheryl Thompson (Private Client). Together, the presentations demonstrated the outstanding work being delivered across the firm and the collaborative approach that continues to underpin its success.

A highlight of the afternoon was the firm’s annual awards presentation, recognising colleagues whose commitment, professionalism and achievements have made a significant contribution to TV Edwards.

Long Service Awards

The firm was delighted to recognise colleagues celebrating significant milestones in their careers at TV Edwards:

Recognition Award Winners

Congratulations to all of this year’s award winners and long service recipients. Their dedication, expertise and commitment continue to make a lasting contribution to the firm’s success and culture.

Following the presentations, colleagues gathered on the hotel’s rooftop terrace to enjoy drinks and food and the summer sunshine. The annual charity raffle, organised by Rose Brooks, raised more than £800 for Haven House Children’s Hospice, the firm’s chosen charity. TV Edwards extends its sincere thanks to everyone who donated and helped support this important cause.

The Annual General Meeting remains one of the highlights of the TV Edwards calendar, providing an opportunity for colleagues from across the firm to come together, celebrate shared achievements, recognise excellence and strengthen the relationships that make the firm such a collaborative and supportive place to work.

As TV Edwards looks ahead, it does so with confidence, building on another year of growth, innovation and recognition. With on going investment in its people, technology, and client service, along with strong ambitions for market growth, the firm is well positioned to build on its success and continue delivering exceptional outcomes for clients and communities alike.
