Lindsay specialises in public law cases concerning children and represents parents, children, grandparents and other family members in care proceedings. Lindsay is a member of The Law Society’s Children Accreditation Scheme.
Lindsay regularly acts in complex care cases where there are allegations of non-accidental injury, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and where there are issues regarding mental health and drug and alcohol use.
Lindsay advises grandparents and other family members who are being assessed as a possible carer or special guardian for a child. Lindsay also advises parents about child protection concerns and the public law outline process when a local authority has concerns about a child but have not made an application to court.
Lindsay is an effective advocate regularly undertaking her own advocacy.
