James joined TV Edwards as a paralegal in the Criminal Department in July 2024. He supports Nathaniel Gadsby and Georgia Patterson on Criminal Defence cases.
While studying for his Law degree, James completed a mini pupillage with a chambers specialising in Commercial Property, Equity and Trusts, and Housing.
James is currently completing his Police Station Representative Accreditation Course, which will allow him to advise and represent clients at the police station when they are interviewed under caution by the police. James enjoys drafting legal documents, advising clients, and preparing cases for trial.
Previously James worked as a mechanical engineer and had a career in professional football. James had a major career change due to his desire to help people, who might otherwise think that they had no one to turn to, and to ensure that everyone is listened to and respected while being given clear legal advice.
