The Family team at TV Edwards was delighted with its recent performance in the independent legal directory, Legal 500.

Warm congratulations go to Alison Leivesley, Maud Davis and Hannah Perry, who are key individuals in their field.

Alison Leivesley is described as “totally committed to her clients” who often have complex needs arising out of domestic abuse, so called honour based violence, forced marriage or female genital mutilation (“FGM”). Alison is regularly asked to lecture in her fields of expertise and is particularly committed to developing junior team members ensuring that her unfailingly client-focused approach is carried on by our new generation of family lawyers.

Maud Davis is described as “very responsive” in her work primarily representing children through their guardians in care proceedings. As a higher rights advocate she conducts all her own advocacy, ensuring her clients have a committed, personal service from beginning to end of their cases. Maud is also involved in the development of family law through her work with the Association of Lawyers for Children

Hannah Perry makes a well-deserved first appearance in the Legal 500 and is recommended for her work representing parents and children in care proceedings. She is also an accredited specialist in the fields of domestic abuse and children cases between parents. She is widely respected in the profession, demonstrated by the fact she is one of only two solicitors in the country sitting on the committee that reviews the Family Court rules and procedures.

These rankings show why TV Edwards justifiably has a stellar reputation for family law, with the department as a whole continuing to climb the rankings.
