Alpa Ghelani

Alpa is an Associate Solicitor at TV Edwards, specialising in all areas of family law relating to public law children. Alpa qualified as a solicitor in November 2006.

Alpa regularly represents parents and children in often complex care proceedings involving non accidental injury, sexual abuse and emotional harm. Also, Special Guardianship proceedings and adoption. Alpa undertakes her own advocacy where possible, but she also works collaboratively with counsel where instructed.

She’s also a good listener and strong advocate. An approachable team player, Alpa is always willing to assist others.

Alpa has always been interested in family law which stemmed from wanting to practice an area of law where her advice would make a difference to someone’s life. It is an area of law which is varied and ever changing and the decisions made by the courts impact on peoples real life and decisions which can last a life time particularly when representing children.
