We are delighted to announce the promotion of Jenny Mansell to Partner within our highly regarded Social Welfare Team.
This achievement reflects not only Jenny’s exceptional legal expertise and dedication to her clients, but also our firm’s ongoing commitment to developing and championing talent from within. Jenny’s journey from trainee to Partner is a powerful example of the strength of our homegrown talent and the culture of progression at TV Edwards.
Jenny Mansell’s Journey
Jenny joined TV Edwards in 2011, trained with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2014. Over the past decade, she has built a respected practice spanning housing, Court of Protection and community care law, becoming a trusted advocate for individuals and families facing complex and life-changing challenges.
She is widely recognised for her expertise in homelessness and possession matters, as well as her strategic approach to cases involving vulnerable clients requiring community care support. Her ability to navigate the intersection of these areas of law enables her to deliver effective, holistic representation and secure meaningful outcomes. She is also a valued mentor within the team, supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the continued strength of the Social Welfare team.
Jenny has been ranked for consecutive years in the Chambers UK guide as an “Associate to Watch” and recognised as a “Key Lawyer” in The Legal 500 across her three practice areas – a testament to the consistency, quality and impact of her work.
A Word from Julian Overton, Managing Partner:
In her 14 years at the firm, Jenny has contributed so much to the Social Welfare team and the wider firm. Steadily progressing through the ranks, Jenny has become a fantastic all-rounder, managing to combine high quality casework and supervision responsibilities with an increasing number of management tasks. Jenny’s contribution to the management of the Social Welfare team and its smooth running cannot be overestimated. Splitting her time between both offices to maximise her contact with team members, Jenny is a highly valued colleague and mentor to so many team members who have benefitted from her experience, compassion, enthusiasm and sound judgement.
Many congratulations Jenny.
