We are pleased to announce that our Housing and Crime teams have both achieved ‘Competence Plus’ ratings in their latest independent Legal Aid Agency (LAA) peer reviews.
The ratings follow the LAA’s updated Peer Review Quality Guides and criteria sheets, which are used to assess legal aid case files against current quality standards. ‘Competence Plus’ is the second-highest rating available, recognising consistently high standards of legal practice, case management and client care.
The result is particularly significant for our Crime team, which has improved on its previous peer review rating.
