She returned to the firm in July 2025 as Partner and Head of Public Law Children Law and now leads a team of 20 solicitors ranked Band 1 in Chambers for Children’s Public Law 2026. Drawing on her personal experience as the parent of an autistic son, she has developed a specialist practice supporting neurodivergent children and families, with a focus on ensuring clients receive the understanding, communication support and reasonable adjustments they need throughout proceedings.

In 2023, Alia established the UK’s first dedicated Autism and ADHD family law team, helping to embed neuro-inclusive approaches into legal representation and advocacy.
