Our Family team is ranked in Band 1 in the category of Children: Public Law Matters. We are noted for offering services across a wide range of family issues including nuptial agreements, ancillary relief and private law children proceedings. The team is recognised for its particular strength in public law care work, with deep expertise in abuse and adoption cases.
Referees have said that our “commitment to clients and attention to detail [is] second to none”, and that we are “always very knowledgeable and efficient. [We] have a very good understanding of the complex issues in care proceedings”.

The Social Welfare team maintains its ranking in Band 2 for our Social Housing work for tenants
We are noted for representing clients in a broad range of housing litigation including for unlawful eviction, possession proceedings and disrepair. Referees have said that “everyone at the firm has been really excellent and committed”.
Joint Heads of Department, Jacky Starling and Katie Brown, continue to be ranked as individual lawyers, and Jenny Mansell is noted as an associate to watch.

Our Criminal department is ranked in Band 3
The team is noted to be well equipped to advise on matters involving organised crime activity, including drugs supply and trafficking. We are recognised for handling a wide array of complex and serious cases.
