Licensing Solicitor

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Legal 500 and UK Chambers Guide recognised firm at a time of growth. We have an opening for a full time NQ – 1 Year PQE newly created role of Licensing Solicitor. This role is predominately based at the firm’s offices in Whitechapel. TV Edwards have a further office based in Clapham Junction.

The Licensing Solicitor reports directly to the Head of the Criminal Department.

Requirements

  • Newly qualified to 1 year PQE preferably with exposure to licensing law during training but full training will be provided
  • You will be structurally organised, ambitious, and dynamic
  • You will be a strong communicator and commercially minded
  • The ability to identify and develop new opportunities for the firm

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with marketing and business development efforts.
  • Confidentially manage your own caseload of high calibre work and clients
  • Prepare licensing applications and provide sound licensing advice
  • Liaise with Licensing Authorities and other Responsible Authorities
  • Representing clients in sub-committee hearings and appeals
