Kirsty joined TV Edwards as a Paralegal in 2022 and was offered a training contract with the firm in 2023. She is currently a trainee solicitor, completing her third seat in the Family Finance department assisting Paul Read, Anest Mathias and Anesha Pavaday on divorce, financial settlements, private law children disputes and domestic abuse.
Kirsty completed her second seat within the Property department where she assisted on a number of residential and commercial matters.
Her first training seat was completed in the Family Children team where she obtained wide ranging experience in all children law cases. She assisted clients in private children law matters where there was a dispute about a child, public law cases where there were protection concerns, international child abduction and domestic abuse cases. Kirsty particularly enjoys helping clients in stressful situations and clients commend her for her empathetic and diligent approach.
Kirsty studied Law at the University of Sussex and graduated with a 2.1 in 2020. She further studied at BPP Law School and studied the Legal Practice Course and LLM. Kirsty graduated in 2022 with a Distinction.
Charity and Fundraising
Prior to joining TV Edwards LLP in 2022, Kirsty volunteered in the Crisis Team at Citizens Advice Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale and Trafford where she issued food and fuel vouchers to vulnerable people in need.
Kirsty also volunteered at Streetlaw where she drafted and presented workshops to local community groups providing valuable information about their legal rights.
