Hannah joined TV Edwards as a paralegal in the family children team in September 2024. She supports Lindsay Blake and Amanda Mhlanga with their cases which are predominantly private and public children law cases.
Hannah’s interest in family and child law began whilst studying for A Levels in 2019 when she completed work experience in a local family law firm. She subsequently chose family and child law as an elective during her undergraduate law degree in 2021 and later as an elective during my LPC in 2024.
Hannah graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a First Class Honours Degree in Law in 2023 and completed her Masters in Law (LLM) and LPC in 2024 where she achieved a merit.
During her undergraduate law degree, Hannah worked at a student-run legal advice clinic, advising clients on predominantly family matters. During her LPC LLM, Hannah volunteered at a law clinic where she advised on housing and welfare benefits. Her role was supporting clients who had been given notice of eviction or required support in applying for welfare benefits. Hannah has also volunteered at an organisation called ‘Support Through Court’ where she supported people who were unrepresented in their family court proceedings and guided them through the legal process.
