The Chambers and Partners rankings have been today published for this year. TV Edwards is delighted that the Children team in our Family Department has been placed in Band Two of the practice area of Children – Public Law Matters in the rankings this year.

The entry recognises the strength and depth of the department’s work which is reflected in the department profile:

‘(The department) Offers clients support across a wide range of family issues, including nuptial agreements, ancillary relief and private law children proceedings. Exhibits notable strength in public law care work, with deep expertise in abuse and adoption cases. Remains committed to taking legal aid-funded cases. Maintains experience in both domestic and international child abduction work. Particular strength in wardship cases with an international element.’

We are also delighted that Hannah Perry, Joint Head of the Family Department, is placed in Band 1 of the rankings as a notable practitioner in this area of law. The ranking recognises Hannah’s exceptional work as follows –

Hannah Perry leads the firm’s children and domestic abuse team and is recognised for her experience in public law issues. She frequently acts for children in care proceedings involving human rights and abuse issues. She is also praised for her representation of parents and guardians.
