Sheena is a senior solicitor and member of the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Scheme, specialising in complex child protection proceedings. Sheena has extensive expertise representing children, either directly or through their Guardian, including in cases where there are allegations of non-accidental injury, sexual abuse and deprivation of liberty cases.
Sheena is a highly experienced and compassionate family lawyer, having specialised in children law since qualifying as a solicitor in 2011. Over the years, she has built a good reputation for her meticulous, thoughtful, client focused approach and expertise in family law. Sheena undertakes most of her advocacy.
Prior to qualifying as a Solicitor, Sheena worked with neurodivergent adults and adults with disabilities, which sparked her interest in pursuing a career in helping others, through Family Law.
Alongside her personal and extensive professional experience and having completed a Level 2 accredited course in Understanding Autism, Sheena has developed a particular expertise in representing neurodivergent children and adults. Her experience extends to representing children and adults with learning difficulties, representing adults through the Official Solicitor and cases involving deaf adults, children and children of deaf adults (CODA), offering bespoke and highly skilled representation to her clients.
