Megan elected to study Family Law as a module during her LLM, as it was an area of law she had not studied before, and she was eager to expand her legal knowledge. During this module, Megan took a particular interest in Family Finance, choosing to analyse the Law Commission’s review of financial remedies on divorce and the need and scope for reform of the law for her dissertation. This area of law interests her for the opportunity it presents to put into action creative and collaborative solutions to aid clients in getting through the often stressful and emotionally draining process of divorce
