Adalberto is a dedicated paralegal in the Criminal Defence team with a strong commitment to public interest law and human rights. His interest in criminal law began during his undergraduate studies, where he engaged in public interest work and became aware of the profound impact criminal law can have on the most vulnerable in society. While at the University of Manchester, Adalberto led a Homeless Outreach initiative and was recognised with the ‘Make a Difference’ Award for outstanding positive impact on society.
During his LLM in Human Rights Law at University College London, he further developed his expertise through volunteering and internships with organisations such as the London Refugee Clinic, RAPAR (Refugee Rights Organisation), and Amicus, as well as completing a summer internship at the UCL Integrated Legal Advice Clinic.
Adalberto graduated with a first-class LLB from the University of Manchester, receiving the RG Lawson Prize for the best essay of the year in Counterterrorism and Human Rights, and completed his LLM at UCL with distinction. His academic and practical experience reflects a deep commitment to supporting individuals affected by legal challenges and advancing social justice through the law.
