Kamila Sukhan

Kamila joined TV Edwards LLP as a Paralegal in the Crime department in September 2025 and supports Georgia Patterson with her criminal defence work. Kamila is currently completing her MLaw degree at the University of Kent and aims to qualify as a solicitor after completing her course.

Kamila is passionate about working in the Criminal department as she developed a strong interest in this field while doing volunteer work, alongside a lawyer in Cape Town, South Africa in 2024. The opportunity offered her a unique perspective on how criminal justice intersects with broader societal issues. She believes that working within the criminal field allows her to make a difference, especially for those who are often overlooked or misunderstood. The need for analytical thinking and deep understanding of both legal principles and human behaviour is something she finds rewarding and motivating. Lastly, criminal law moves quickly and demands adaptability, she enjoys the urgency and variety of the work.
