Mia joined TV Edwards as a paralegal in the Social Welfare Department in May 2025. She assists Monica Kreel with her community care, public law and Court of Protection cases. She also works with Caroline Bird on her Court of Protection, housing and migrant support cases.
Before joining TV Edwards, Mia worked as a caseworker for a firm carrying out public law and community care work. She assisted on a broad range of cases including helping care leavers to obtain local authority support, representing young migrants challenging age assessments, and acting for asylum seekers in housing suitability challenges against the Home Office.
Mia also has experience as a project worker for victims of trafficking and modern slavery.
She completed her undergraduate LLB in Law with Criminology with a first.
Mia volunteered for prisoner’s rights when she was a student and subsequently volunteered with Bail for Immigration Detainees. It was here that Mia’s interest in migrant support rights first began.
