Kerry is currently on maternity leave.
Kerry is a solicitor in the Court of Protection team. She qualified as a solicitor in 2017 and has worked at TV Edwards LLP since 2019.
Kerry is very experienced in advising on mental capacity issues, having practised as a Mental Health lawyer for most of her career.
She prides herself in representing some of the most vulnerable people in society and ensures that she offers a personalised approach to each case. She strives to fight for clients so that they receive the best results. She puts communication with her clients (who often lack capacity) at the centre of her work and she is skilled at building a rapport quickly. She will always take time to make sure clients fully understand their position and their case. She is able to work effectively with her clients and care or support professionals to ensure each case runs as efficiently as possible.
Kerry started her career as a paralegal in a newly established mental health department in November 2014. She was interested in mental capacity law after working as a support worker for adults and children with learning disabilities / mental health issues for over 4 years. This experience as a support worker gave her a passion to continue working with the most vulnerable in society and advocate on their behalf.
Kerry has fundraised for numerous charities over the years but has a particular interest in access to justice and mental health charities. She has participated in the London Legal Walk and strives to continue to do so every year.
