About Edie
Edie is in the final seat of training contract and supports Monica Kreel, Jennifer Mansell, Caroline Bird and Aneela Samrai with their Court of Protection, Community Care, public law, and housing work.
Since joining TV Edwards as a paralegal in September 2023, Edie has provided advice and assistance to clients in a range of social welfare matters, including helping clients to access suitable accommodation via local authority homelessness duties, advising on notices of seeking possession to avoid clients being evicted, and challenging Care Act 2014 assessments for disabled clients.
Edie studied French and Russian at UCL and then the GDL at City University. Edie achieved a Distinction on the LPC-LLM at the University of Westminster in 2023. Having volunteered at an employment pro bono clinic and an immigration legal advice clinic during university, Edie went on to qualify as a Debt Adviser at a London Law Centre.
Edie enjoys helping clients to access the law and ensuring that everyone is listened to and respected.
