We are thrilled to welcome Sheena Vadher to our growing Family Law team. Sheena joins us as a highly experienced Senior Solicitor, bringing a wealth of expertise in complex children law matters, including child protection proceedings, non-accidental injury, sexual abuse, and deprivation of liberty cases.
A Passion for Children’s Rights
Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2011, Sheena has dedicated her career to representing children and families through some of the most challenging and sensitive legal issues. She is a member of the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Scheme and is known for her meticulous, client-focused approach, undertaking most of her own advocacy to provide personalised, compassionate representation.
Sheena’s commitment to children’s rights extends beyond her legal practice. She is a co-founding member of Family Law Advice for the Neurodivergent Community (FLANC), a cross-firm working group dedicated to breaking down barriers to participation and championing accessible support for neurodivergent individuals navigating the child protection and family justice system.
Expertise in Neurodiversity and Complex Cases
With a unique background that includes supporting neurodivergent adults and individuals with disabilities before qualifying as a solicitor, Sheena has developed a particular expertise in representing neurodivergent children and adults. This understanding, combined with her professional experience and additional training in understanding autism, allows her to offer highly skilled, tailored support to clients facing complex challenges.
Paul Read, Partner and Head of Family Law, shares his excitement about Sheena’s arrival:
“Sheena is a highly experienced and compassionate family lawyer, known for her skill and dedication to children’s rights. She is a recommended lawyer in the Legal 500, reflecting the high regard in which she is held by both clients and peers. We are thrilled to welcome her to the team and look forward to the insight, energy, and warmth she will bring to our practice.”
Welcome to the team Sheena.
