Christian Ariwa

Christian joined TV Edwards LLP as a paralegal in the Family Children Department in September 2023. He supports Claire Longland and Maria Pilavaki with their cases, predominantly private and public children law cases.  

Christian developed a particular interest in Family Law during his undergraduate degree and achieved upper second-class marks in modules titled ‘Family Law: Adult Relationships’ and ‘Family Law: Child Law’. He recently completed the Bar Vocational Studies Course where he achieved 89% in his Family Law elective module, and he anticipates being called to the Bar with a Merit.

Before joining TV Edwards, he spent three years working for an MP whilst concurrently studying the Bar Course part-time in the latter two years. With a background in progressive policy, he brings this philosophy to the practice of Family Law, and he is particularly interested in the vital function that child law plays in society. 

Christian graduated with a qualifying law degree from the University of East Anglia in 2020. He completed the Bar Vocational Studies Course at City, University of London in September 2023.
