Adam joined TV Edwards as a paralegal in the Social Welfare department in April 2024. He supports Nilufer Ozdemir with her Court of Protection work.
After graduating from the University of Surrey with a law degree in 2021, Adam worked as a paralegal at a boutique law firm in their Housing, Court of Protection and Mental Health teams. As part of his role, he managed an independent caseload in Court of Protection (welfare cases) and acted in Mental Health Tribunals for patients detained in hospital.
Adam later received a scholarship from Inner Temple to study the Bar Course at the Inns of Court, College of Advocacy. Alongside his studies he undertook a range of pro-bono work. At Liberty he provided tailored advice to members of the public on human rights issues, and, as a FRU volunteer, he successfully represented individuals in welfare benefits appeals at the First Tier Tribunal (Social Security).
