Members of the TV Edwards family team were delighted to attend and support the official launch of the charity True Honour at the House of Commons on 10th October 2016.

True Honour is a charity that assists survivors  of forced marriage, honour based violence and female genital mutilation. The charity also works in conjunction with police forces, health practitioners and Local Authorities across England and provides training to professionals so that survivors  of abuse are identified at the earliest opportunity and provided with the necessary support.  Its founder, Sarbjit Athwal, has personal experience of honour based violence and wishes to use her personal experience to highlight these issues  within our society and to raise awareness.

The event itself was hosted by James Berry MP for Kingston and Surbiton and was attended by legal professionals, members of the police force and charities, amongst others. Further information about True Honour can be found by accessing their website.
