Emily Arnott

Emily joined TV Edwards as a Paralegal in the Crime department in October 2024. She supports Nathaniel Gadsby and Georgia Patterson with their criminal defence work. Emily has also commenced the Police Station Accreditation scheme to become an accredited police station representative providing advice and assistance to people interviewed under caution.

Emily has enjoyed several court experiences, including three mini-pupillages at 5KBW, 5 Paper Buildings, and Mountford; a Coroner’s Inquest; and shadowing a number of barristers informally.

Having spent two months in a migrant camp in Calais, Emily developed an interest in the asylum process. She undertook an internship at South West London Law Centre in the Immigration team and worked on legal aid cases centred mostly on Article 3 and Article 8 submissions. Emily became an Appropriate Adult during her BTC and worked with young and vulnerable persons in police stations in central London. She looks forward to developing her knowledge of Criminal law as a Paralegal at TV Edwards.
