Amina Begum is a paralegal in the Family Finance department. She has assisted fee earners with cases involving many aspects of family law including divorce, financial settlements and child arrangements.
Amina has also assisted fee earners in domestic abuse cases, such as non molestation orders and occupation order proceedings. She currently assists Emma Baillie in relation to divorces, financial settlements and Children Act cases. She has a particular focus on financial disclosure.
Amina took an interest in family law when she studied it as a module in her undergraduate degree. She then studied it further in the LPC and in her Masters chose to do a dissertation on no fault divorce which is due to come into law in 2022.
Amina is organised, hardworking and empathetic to clients, with excellent communication skills.
